Dairy Co-op Shareholders Demand Explanation

FIJI - The Fiji Cooperative Dairy Company Limited's financial accounts came under heavy fire from shareholders at its annual general meeting held in Nausori today.

A few shareholders stood up one after another demanding explanations on increases in expenditure, and other costs incurred, The Fiji Times Onlinereports.

The shareholders made a stand not to adopt the 2016 financials that resulted in this motion going into a formal vote.

Voting is now taking place at the Vunimono Hall, with the ballot paper now carrying extra motions, which includes whether shareholders agree to accept the company's audited financial accounts.
